It is your Government and Your elected representatives that empowered such homelessness. Going back as far as President Ronald Reagan who tossed out mentally ill people and closed the institutions that housed and cared for them. Meanwhile, 90% of our "Government Representatives" focus on Corporate interests. with the remaining 10% focused on the interests of those who elected them! Think about it. Still, there well always be some living in poverty and homeless. Not all of them are criminals, or mentally ill, or people who do not want to earn their own living and gain greater independence.
