The power you express

There is so much to say that is never ever said, fears increase the noise within that keeps one silent!
In life every day experiences can be wonderful and/or awful, painful, or blissful, expanding or contracting, we open to the sun or we hide from it, we feel it is too hot or perhaps not hot enough.

People in the world are going about their way doing what must be done, and some do what they enjoy.

People are motivated, compelled, and driven to act, some act in silent stillness, fearing the worst possibilities may occur now today or in the near future. Some choose to act looking to the sun and warmth, and welcoming each moment with appreciation believing that is the way to live enjoyably and increase love and compassion in this active world, where everyone is leading, following, or resisting.

It can be difficult to love everyone, hard to see the light of GOD living in the heart of everyone. It is easier to be judgmental and condemn another as imperfect in some way, any~way.

We so easily forget our own failings when in our puffed up egotistical superiority we call another sinner, or ugly, or stupid, or dirty, or smelly, or. . . and it goes on and on. . . many seem to never learn to step beyond being superior and contemptible.

Some it is said would plan for the extinction of many to save a few.

Perhaps this is true, perhaps there is more to the story. Is it possible for mankind to learn, to grow, to recognize something different? Or will the common refrain continue; “It has always been this way and it will always be this way.” “Some things never change.” “There have always been wars and there will always be war.” “Mommy, I’m hungry!” “It hurts!” “That felt good.”

We love variety and fear anything that may indicate that everything is the same in some way.

It seems easier to find and choose how we are different, rather than how we are the same.

It is easier to recognize what I need and ignore what you need.

There is some caring and compassion, but is there ever enough?

I am limited by words. I cannot embrace you with them. I cannot magically have you feel the energy of loving warmth lifting you lightly and soothing away all your discomforts. But to do the opposite is a power common to mankind and because it is easier to be harsh many choose that path!

The harsh path is a competitive path, it is a selfish path, and many worship its one up-man-ship power with brutality over anything perceived to be weak in any perceptible way.

There is a “taking advantage of” that is cruelty expressed, and there is a “taking advantage of” that is giving in times of need. The two are opposites.

One seeks to tear down and destroy, the other to strengthen, encourage and enable.

Focus, vision, purpose, intent, desire, aim, motivation, aspirations compel one into action.
The question is “are we moving into darkness, or into light?”
Are we following a path of lies, or are we strengthening our days in truth, honesty, and integrity.
We are individuals. Each you and me walks a path each day that makes this world a joy or a sorrow.
Some may increase the peacefulness of this environment, and all influence this moment, always.
